Imagination was given to man to compensate him for what he is not, and a sense of humor was provided to console him for what he is. - Oscar Wilde

Animation, Art, and Other Shiny Things
For all of you who subscribe to my blog for the animation, sorry, but really not. You get a month (probably) of pictures and commentary about our trip to England before regular programming resumes. Hey, you might actually enjoy them.
Just about to call a car to take us to Sea-Tac airport for our flight to the UK and we’ve been as excited as a dog that scored a dinosaur bone. I admit to quite a lot of butterflies as we aren’t going the tour route – I’m not a good one with lots of people. Instead I did a great deal of research and created our own itinerary. We may miss some ‘don’t miss’ stuff, but we will be finding some small, interesting things along our path.
We will visit two cat statues and two real cats, a spot where a Brit-com was filmed and a spot where an album cover was taken. We’ll look at a lot of graffiti and plenty of old architecture and fine art. We’ll relax in a cemetery and on the Welsh coast. All that and quite a bit more.
You can gather as to why I have a flight of very large butterflies, eh?
Oh, and I’m not taking any full computers on this trek – our phones and fire tablets are it. The image is of the set up I’ll use to post here at the nest. Yes, that’s a 7″ Fire tablet and a foldable keyboard. Should be interesting and I plan to work on a short story or two as well.
Onward, into the fog…
